Finally Graduating and Final reflection

I think that this year I learned a lot more than last year. I felt that this year I took the time to take good pictures. The biggest thing I will take from the class is that everything in nature has a pattern. And I can prove with the pictures. I learn new techniques for example to take close picture of objects. I guess I can say that I struggled with coming to class. And also had a hard time finding new things in nature that I can find. But over all I can trouble writing descriptions for the pictures. The reason why I can back this year because I wanted to do the hikes again and I wanted to improve in my pictures. I also came back because I want to take a photography class in college. I think the activity with the milk was fun even though I already did it again. My favorite part about this class was making fun of Mr. Roberts, because the fact that he look's like STEVE from BLUE's CLUES ( just look at him). The Snakes and latter's was fun because it was hard to find out if there is a way to fin the game. But the answer is no because it just based on chances.

DAy 9: Golden Gate Park && Ocean Beach

So this picture is one of my best picture I have taken this year. This is a picture of a plant that i found walking towards the Ocean Beach. I found this plant interesting because starting from the middle of the plant it uses a rule to form the rest of the spiral shape.

This is a picture of a water fall. I took this picture because I wanted to show the shapes and the waves when the water falls.
I found this flower interesting because of the form of it. I believe that this flower has a rule to make it the shape it is. Just like DNA make human different.

I love the color of this picture because from the begging the flowers look purple but as they grow there petals turn white. There is a rule to the color transformation to these flowers just like we have our Genes to tells our body which color our eye, hair and skin is. They also have it too!

I chose this picture because this shows when the mother have babies the different patterns in the fur, there either smiler to their mother or there fathers.

This is some kind of animal thank looks like a turkey. I thought it was kind of weird and thats why I took a picture of it.

You may this is grass but actually look closely.. its water! This is called allgae. It is some sort of plant that grows in the water like this. And we even found turtles in the pond.

So this picture I found it interesting because of the colors that pop out. The red and the green. And you can also see a reflection in the water.

This is something other than just your average building. If you were able to fold this picture in half the you found get the same thing. Which is called self-similarity.

DAy 8: MAke up PICtureS from when i was absent

This is a picture of different types of flowers at Jacklondon Square. The reason why I took this picture was because if you take a closer look you will find many different patterns that iterate on the patterns.
I like this picture because its a spire web on the mirror. This is a pattern because of all the different ways it turn to become a spire web.

Day 7: Having fun with MiLK && SOAp && FOoD COLORiNg

In class we did a little experiment with milk && soap && food coloring. My team and I had milk in a plate and we put one drop of food coloring of our choice on 4 corners of a plate. In the middle of the plate we grab a tooth pick with one end with soap and we watched how the colors moved and blend together. And this particular picture I chose it because it showed how the colors bled and mix together.

Day 6: San Francisco

This picture was taken on the farry leaving oakland toward SF. In this picture I loved how the waves formed behind the ferry. This pattern repeats its self and it goes faster when the farry goes faster and slows down when when the farry does.

I chose this picture because I love the way the water drops hit the ground. This picture was taken side a post office building in San Francisco. The was water failing from the ceiling in the middle of the building.

I chose this picture because I was able to clearly see the different ways the parts of the tree open. This is a picture of an opening of a tree.

Day 5: Leona Gorge && Mandkebroth set

So I chose this picture because I really like the color of the flower. This is an example of a simple flower. As you get closer to the leaf of the flower there is a regular patter, they are straight lines.

I chose this image because how the petals of the flower are all bunched up to make a big huge flower. This is a flower I found on the side of the building. This is an example of....

I chose this picture because I had a better view of how the way that the leafs branch of with the same pattern.

This picture is an example of a fractal. A fractal is when when you get closer and closer to an image and you get the same image over and over again.

Day 4: Fort Funston at the Beach

I like this picture because the sand made its own pattern when the water left it. And also the fome the water left in front of the rock.

I thought that the look of the rocks sticking out was pretty cool. All of them were different color, shapes, and sizes. It seems as if it was an irregular pattern everytime.

This is a picture of the water as the waves slowed down close to shore and it shows the different patterns it madee.

I chose this picture because I wanted to show people the sand dollar.

Day 2: Koch Curve && Outside life

I chose this picture because I wanted to show the structure of this flower. This shot was taken in the Calvin Simons campus.

I was amazed of how this fruit or vegetable has the lines on the outside just like the leaves.

This is a closer look of the pattern of the leave. I took this picture because every time i take a picture similar like this i don't get as close as this one.

This maybe a flower you see every day when you walk down the street from the park, but if you look closely look at the pattern from the petal and look at the center of it then you will see the different color of it.

Day 1: Lake Merrit

So this picture I chose it because I like that the color pops out. This is a picture of a flower with three colors; pink, white, and yellow. This image is an example of it iterating petals. As you can see how the petals are in the flower.

I chose this picture because last year I took the same picture and I think I have improved a lot in taking pictures like this. This is a picture of a leaf on a branch in the sunlight.

I Chose this one because I wanted to get a closer look on the bee when its in nature. As you can see the picture is similar to the 1st one because of the different colors.

I chose this one because flower because of the color.
